Mental note to self: DRAW MORE, YOU LAZY ASS!!

Blah! Has it really been nearly a year since my last journal update? I guess I should get on top of things. My mood for drawing had just...plain left me. Wound up neglecting this site horribly. Now that the urge to draw seems to have returned, I hope to be doing something with this crummy little corner of DevArt.

I cleaned out a bunch of older drawings that I just plain detested. I wound up either taking them down altogether or threw them in my doodle graveyard (aka scraps). Also posted some new stuff finally. o.o Holy crap, updates? On *MY* DevArt? Get out. But really, it's true. And I hope more updates will come soon too.

I don't know where my inspiration will come from, or if my muse has finally return to me. All I know is that I have this odd urge to draw. So draw I shall, when I find the time. Or rather, when I make the time.

Anyways, it has come to my attention that I can't draw anime. At all. So i'm seriously thinking just giving up on it. For the time being I hope to practice regular portraiture and still lifes as well as other random art junk that pops into my head. Sure i'll draw the odd chibi cartoon here and there...just don't expect anything good, k?

You know...just to be safe...maybe just don't expect anything at all. I tend to Neglect my DA for long periods of time. I mean, why not....it's not like many people come here anyways. I'm still under 1k hits after a year. Mr Popular I am not. I bet I could go on my space and be the only person there with less than 5 friends.

For some reason drawing Pirates and Gothic Lolita chicks from photo references seems like a good idea...

Does using photo references mean I fail? D: It seems frowned upon...but I are le suck. Let me have my art crutches damnit!

I need some artistic inspiration...

Guess I should make more journal entries other than just the main one where I said "yay I finally joined. The end." Although I'm not really sure what to put here. A lot of people seem to put friends in this section and stuff...but I are no gots any on Deviantart yet D: I are a loner artist...*angst angst* and my art sucks *angst* so that just makes me a loner *angstslitwristsangst*

*ahem* Anyways, yeah....post comments! o.o They make me feel speshul with that warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Well...after years and years of already know about it..I finally got around to getting off my lazy ass and joining DA XP wee! So much to do still though x_x Gotta get my scanner working for one thing...*lost the installation CD* And gotta tweak my profile and make it all spiffy and stuff... Hm...but..i'm feeling lazy for now..so that can come later.

I need to draw more anime and make more completed pieces of art work.. i'm so used to nothing but practice sketches and still lifes and such...bleh..need more spare time for leisure drawing. Hopefully i'll get enough time/practice in though so I can work my way towards my goal of making a decent looking doujin to sell at AE one of these years...^^
